When not pulling on the green and gold for the Socceroos, Tim plays for Everton and currently lives in Manchester England with his wife and young family.

Weet-Bix caught up with Tim during a recent break. Here is just a little of what he shared with us:

Q: How did you get into football?
I enjoyed having competitions with mum, dad, my two brothers and sister in the backyard. I treated every goal as if it were an FA Cup final, knowing from a young age how important football was to me.

Q: Who were your heroes growing up?
I knew everything about every football

team, and every stat on every player. I used to put some of the biggest superstars in the sport on my wall.

Q: What is the secret to your success?
The best thing that could have happened as a young player was to be told that I wasn’t big enough, strong enough or fast enough and that I would never make it as a professional footballer. The only reason that I did make it was that I trained hard.

Q: How do you like your Weet-Bix and how many do you do?
I have fruit and 9 Weet-Bix, sometimes with warm milk and honey if it’s cold.
