Once you have registered for the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRY-athlon you should receive a confirmation of your registration. If you have not received this confirmation of your registration 2 weeks after registering please contact us on 1800 989 999.

1Entries received after 5pm 3rd Mar for Canberra will require participants to COLLECT THEIR KITS WHEN THEY REGISTER ON THE EVENT DAY. Field limits apply. Entries will close earlier than published closing date if field limit is reached prior to registration closing date. Entries close 12 midday.

Event Schedule

The day will run according to the following schedule. Please note that times may alter slightly on the day and are an approximate only. Please allow all morning for the completion of the event.

Time Venue
7am - 8.30am Park at the Australian Institute of Sport, Bruce for easy access to the site.
Collect your chest and bike number from the Registration Tent and then place your bike in the racks in the transition area under your age and gender sign
8.45am Kids TRY-athlon briefing for 11-15 year olds near the swim start
9.00am Kids TRY-athlon start for 11-15 year olds at the swim start
9.30am Kids TRY-athlon briefing for 7-10 year olds near the swim start
9.45am Kids TRY-athlon start for 7-10 year olds at the swim start
11.30am Stage presentation

Important: Bikes must be placed on the rack in the transition area by 8.30am. No entry to the transition area will be allowed after this time. Bikes will not be able to be removed from transition until the event is finished and the announcer says it's OK. This is for the safety and enjoyment of all participants

Free Kids Breakfast: Go to the Breakfast Tent after you have finished the course and have a good Weet-Bix breakfast. The breakfast of Champions!

What to Bring

You'll need to bring the following essential items to participate on the day.

  1. Your participants pack
  2. Swimmers
  3. Goggles
  4. Towel
  5. Bicycle and helmet – it doesn't matter what type of bicycle you have - mountain bike or racing bike as long as it is safe. Check that your helmet has ASSA approval (the sticker should be inside the helmet)
  6. Pair of socks and running shoes
  7. Sunscreen, hat and drinking water

Important: Children cannot share a bike, even if it is their brother or sister. This is for the safety and security of all participants on the day.
