How much sugar in Weet-Bix?

Weet-Bix is a low sugar product with only 3.3% sugar. This is around 1/5th of a teaspoon per 30g serve (2 biscuits).

Is Weet-Bix a wholegrain cereal?

Yes, Weet-Bix contains 97% wholegrain wheat. One 30g serve of Weet-Bix contributes 60% towards the Grains and Legumes Nutrition CouncilTM 48g Wholegrain Daily Target Intake.

Where does the wheat come from?

Australia.

What is Gluten Free Weet-Bix made from?

Gluten Free Weet-Bix is made from the ancient grain sorghum, which is naturally wheat and gluten free.

Is this product truly gluten free/is there any chance of cross contamination?

Our Gluten Free Weet-Bix is made in a gluten free dedicated factory in Perth to ensure there is no chance of cross contamination with our wheat products. Our product has the Coeliac Society endorsement.

In major supermarkets nationwide.

How much sugar is in Gluten Free Weet-Bix?

There is 1.1g per serve which equals about a quarter of a teaspoon per two biscuit serving. There is 2.2g of sugar per 100g.

Since it’s gluten free, does it mean that it has been highly processed?

Gluten Free Weet-Bix is minimally processed – wholegrains are cooked, flattened in a mill and baked in an oven – one of the least processed packaged foods. It is gluten free – not from processing but because we use an ancient grain, Sorghum, which is naturally gluten free.
